I have always done my own work on my cars and trucks, so my last 3 TV's were used with 110K, 48K and 165K miles on them when purchased. All of them all of them ran good, I upgraded some things on each. The Truck in my signature was selected because I wanted to switch to Diesel, Needed a back seat that could sit 3 on occasion that was reasonable to sit on. I wanted pre emissions for fuel mileage and ease of working on the truck and used part availability. I was a GM gut for most of my life but in the per emission area the Dodge Back seat had no leg room, GM was using the 6.5 and a good 99 year was hard to fine and it was not as powerful as the 5.9 and 7.3 motors. I bought my 97 3 years ago with 165K miles on it, Have had to nothing to it but regular maintenance on it, gets 20 mpg hand calculated fuel mileage unloaded and I drive it daily on my commute. It now has 214K miles on it. When you find a good used truck you will know by its condition, Mine was found on the internet and person selling had more then 40 picture of it, every angel every part. It was just as nice when I went to look at it. Paint is all original, other work had been done also but nothing major, just gauges installed and 4 inch exhaust. I added the other things I wanted. I have a spare cam sensor in the glove box if needed but plan to drive this truck for a long time. If you like and do work on your own stuff a used vehicle can save you a lot over time.
