Newbie here, advice on tow rig?
To preface, sorry for the long first post. I've read about 50 pages of the diesel vs gas thread and it's exhausting, so I thought I'd start my own in hopes of getting some realistic non-biased advice....

No, I drive plenty. But on the 7 nights off, I am with the family and we generally are together in the suv. We rarely go anywhere together in the truck. No reason for it. We've put over 20,000 miles on the suv in the first year of owning it.
I could eliminate driving the truck to work by walking or driving the wife's suv. That would eliminate the short distance issue with the diesel. Regardless, the truck is going to sit a lot.
