Newbie Here w/ 2009 Layton

Question

Just bought our first travel trailer.  The deal seemed great and I pounced.  It was not used last year at all last year but obviously was winterized.  I got a Tekonsha brake controller and a BlueOx hitch.  I am bringing it home tomorrow and will go through the entire rig this weekend.  Do you guys think my stock mirrors on my 09 Dodge Ram will be adequate for the width of the trailer or do I need some kind of extension?  I appreciate all constructive tips.  Thanks, Tim.

09 Dodge Ram really isn't enough to make a determination. Can you post a picture?

I have a 2005 Ford F150 which came with stock mirrors but I purchased towing mirrors which I found on eBay. I have to say it's the most important purchase I've made so far between TT and TV.

I picked it up this morning and the seller gave me a brand new set of strap on mirror extensions.  She is resting comfortably in my driveway and has already been washed and 50% waxed.  It was filthy dirty, but is coming up just like brand new.  My wife is cleaning the inside and with a little more elbow grease we'll be ready for our first trip.  Tim C
