Newbie to Generators - Best method to charge RV Battery

Good day all, I'm new to the generator scene and I'm thinking of picking up a Honda 1000W unit this week for an upcoming haul into the wilderness without AC available. My question is how to top up ...

I think you would do a better (faster) charge if you brought along a regular battery charger (up to 50 amps) and plugged that into the Honda (might need a 2000w Honda) and then used the charger cables to your trailer battery.

Just a thought.
