Newbie to Generators - Best method to charge RV Battery

Good day all, I'm new to the generator scene and I'm thinking of picking up a Honda 1000W unit this week for an upcoming haul into the wilderness without AC available. My question is how to top up ...

I would urge you to get a 2000 watt gen instead. You'll find you run out of generator easily and even some battery chargers will overload it and trip its breaker with a little 1K.
