Actually, a bunch of sellers will do this.
When I was looking at used trucks a few years back, I told them before I could even begin talking money, I had to go tow my trailer for forty miles first. Drove two, bought the second one.
Purchased a trailer, but had to tow it first to make sure it handled properly behind the tow rig.
Before I purchased my current camper, over the phone told the seller I would probably want to weigh it before closing the deal. He said no problem, he would just need to ride with me. Ended up not having to, but he only found that out when we he asked if I was ready to take it to the scale.
Never been turned down or had much of a hesitation on a reasonable request like these.
Must be I'm giving people in general much more credit than they deserve. It just seems totally crazy to me that ANYONE with a lick of common sense would let someone who they'd never met back under their camper and drive off with it to have it weighed. It's a guaranteed waste of at least 3-4 hours of the seller's time, perhaps more. Not to mention that the buyer's truck may not be set up for a camper, and the buyer may not have a clue how to back under the camper. The last thing I need is to have some nozzle spaz out halfway under the camper, knock it off the jacks, and then sue ME for damages to his truck.
Nope, if you want to load my camper, it better not be my camper anymore. If the camper doesn't now belong to you, and there isn't a stack of Benjamins in my hand, it stays on the jacks.
