If a seller has a problem letting buyer load the camper on buyer's truck how about they load it on sellers truck for trip to scales? Weigh sellers truck first without camper then with. Simple subtraction should give camper weight. Oh, that's too much trouble for the seller? Not if they want the sale and as much as these things cost they stand to lose a bundle being hard nosed about it. Simple economics, you want the sale you weigh the camper. If they did it ahead of time and had the with tickets as proof no brainer. When we bought or old used camper we didn't weigh it but it was a base model added the weight of expected add ons and it actually weighs less than I'd figured, loaded.
