The obvious question to me is how much weight do you want to put on a quadrasteer truck?
I do not know much about them other than GM didn't make em for long. Doesn't seem like a great setup for carrying super heavy loads.

The answer is just enough weight to get where you're going.

I have basically the same truck, but 4x2.
The 1500HD quadrasteer is not well understood, it was designed for trailering and carrying. The rear wheel track is 5 inches or so wider than the standard truck and has load-adjustable rear shocks. I carry a 2600 lb loaded camper with no issues over 20,000 miles so far. I do have stableloads installed and highly recommend them. You will be amazed at how well your truck handles in 4-wheel steer mode with a camper on.
My only concern for you would be the added weight of a boat but you should be fine with any camper in the 2000 lb range.
p.s. My scale weight with 2 people and loaded for long-distance travel is 8550 lbs.
Thanks guys, its great to finally hear first-hand experiences from those who have hauled TC's with 1500 HD Quadrasteers!:D I've located the nearest CAT scale and plan on taking the truck and boat to get weighed tomorrow.
