Well, after some thought and all the feedback I believe I will go the pop-up route. I believe that it will be more stable with my entire rig. The only concerns I had with the pop-up style are camping when it is cold, and the privacy issue. Will I hear every little peep at the campground in one of these, or are they more insulated than that? Also, I can do without the shower, but a toilet would be nice. Do the "casette" toilets mentioned on this site have the ability to be plumbed into a sewer hookup at a campsite? Can they be added to this style of camper after-the-fact? I have found several campers (mostly sunlite and palimino broncos), but none under the 8' size have a toilet. I still think one of those 8' cabover Alaskan campers would be awesome, but I may never find one here in the southeast!
