There's no reason you can't go hardside. I think you will be happier having the shower and a real RV toilet.
What they don't tell you about cassette toilets is, what comes OUT when you empty them! Sure you can dump them in a toilet, if you can keep your lunch down while doing it. Mine had 2X the prescribed amount of chemical in it, and there was no sign of any "blue water" smell. It just smelled like... Just thinking about it makes me throw up a little in my mouth.
Sound insulation is pretty much nonexistent with a popup. You have to be extremely tolerant and a sound sleeper.
