I'm shorter and have no problems refilling the DEF tank. I set a 2-1/2 gal. jug on top of the radiator overflow tank, stick the filler hose into opening and tilt the jug. Just did this last week, nothing spilled and didn't have to hold the jug in the air. Besides, my 13 year old utility body wouldn't have fit on a new Ford or Ram with their dual fill ports.
