Very happy with my 15 3500HD Denali D/A. Fyi, the rear sliding window is standard on Denali but not available if truck is equipped with snow plow prep option.
Get a 3500 SRW. The ride unloaded is no different than the 2500 but has up to 1500 additional payload. GVWR on mine is 11,500.
That explains it. The one I test drove had the prep package...which makes no sense to me. What does a sliding window have to do with snow prep?
The 3500 rode like a dump truck empty. I would not be able to handle that every day.
Most likely had 80 lbs if air in the rear tires!!! 45 to 50 empty helps a lot. On the RAM 3500's you can lower the air pressure without an alarm. The 2500's alarm! The 3500 is just a monitor! I push one button to see air pressure and another to return to digital speedo.

I'd agree with this. i had usually 50 or so in the back of my 05 when just running around. When I loaded the bed with gravel etc, then I put 80 in the tires. Even for short 2-4 mile trips, I would leave 50 in the tires. For longer runs, definitely filled them up. I also did not notice a lot of difference between 50 and 80. Still rode better than my dump truck empty!
