Any Dodge Ram CTD owners change their own water/fuel separator filters on their newer trucks? I used to change my 2006 every 5,000 miles. I know ..little frequent but hey. Only cost 15 bucks and 15 mi...

That's just crazy!
Evidently people pay it or they wouldn't even quote that price!
2 plus hours of shop tech time plus the cost of the filters is what they quoted for something that would be done in the quickie lube lane in about 15min........
Wonder why I do all my own work and don't even bother trying to take it in.
Last oil change on my F250 gasser work truck was over $100. Granted, the company finally approved using the reccomended syn oil and extending oil changes to 5kmi so the synthetic added $ but $100+for 7 qts of oil and a filter is ********!
