At 29 - 30 mpg I would consider a 3.0 VM motori :B option as this could prove to be a very economical vehicle provided it doesn't have reliability issues.
I would not purchase a loaded half ton with a sticker price of 57k or anywhere near that price.
Summary: I think I would set this one out for 1-2 model years to see how this engine pans out in a truck application, (including to ensure Chrysler continues to produce this engine/truck combo for the long haul) and hope like hell they get rid of that hideous rotating shift knob. I would also suggest Chrysler give a training overview during the sale process on how to handle the DPF and the regen process.
