Just read the emotional and OPINIONATED responses in this thread...
Would the emotions be as high if Nissan announced their own diesel? Or a Ford
diesel? Or a Isuzu diesel? Or a GM Duramax? or anyother brand?
Would it have cost much less or more using those others vs Cummins ?
Think not...Cummins has a VERY wide and large following and BRAND ID
world wide and not just light duty trucks
Pure marketing for both Nissan and Cummins...now wonder what Dodge will do...
Betcha there are backroom deals/conditions between those three OEMs
that allows, disallows, etc on all three...
