Basically, I think this truck is targeted at the F150 max payload, except this has less payload and less horsepower, and seems to get the same fuel economy at least unloaded.
But, chances are they'll market it as heavy duty despite the payload limits. I've already seen one Nissan ad with it hooked to a 35' or so gooseneck with a back hoe on the trailer. Surely that setup had well north of 3,000 pounds of hitch weight.
