- coolbreeze01ExplorerGlad Nitto stepped up for you. Were the problem tires made in the USA?

So, how does one drive 70 MPH, and hit something with the back tire but not the front tire with a SRW truck?
Because the front tire will roll over the object and kick it up and send it tumbling towards the rear tire where is gets trapped as it is tumbling.
X2. A very common occurance. As has been said, front tire kicks it up and at just the right angle to jamb it home into the rear tire. - 2006blackmaxExplorerUpdate, I had 2 Nitto blowouts,1 empty, other towing 5th wheel. I dropshipped tires to Nitto and they were claimed defective, had passenger & drivers side bed replaced and truck painted. Nitto paid for damages, this week I received a recall letter for DuraGrappler tires. I don't know if this was started from my claim but I just wanted people to know for their safety.
Letter posted here....http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/wheels-tires/553098-nitto-recall.html - 720DeereExplorerI couldn't get rid of my Michelin LTX A/T2 tires fast enough! Absolutely no traction in snow, not much better on a wet road and forget about wet grass. The don't wear near as well as the LTX M/S tires that have enjoyed a great reputation for the last 20 years. If you want to hear a bad word on the Michelins, just visit a Ford truck forum and listen to the guys talk about the A/T2 tires that came on their trucks from the factory.

The price!!
edit to add: I have 265/70/18 Michelin LTX A/T2. They are excellent tires, but don't come cheap. - meatwagonExplorer

I know just what your feeling bro. I just got my truck back from the chevy dealer yesterday after having the left side replaced ($3900). My tires were bfgs a/t 265/75/16's. Posted my story on the truck camper forum titled (Cat scales? lesson learned). - 2006blackmaxExplorerThanks Mr
- HannibalExplorerI was getting onto US19 in Clearwater one day when I heard a loud hiss from the right rear. I stopped right away and found a &%^ $@($ door hinge pin at the edge of the tread of my just barely over 100k mile Michelins. I couldn't believe it penetrated but there it was. I thought it was a bolt or spike until I pulled it out. If I'd been shaggin' *@@ down the highway, it could have been ugly.
Good luck with the Firestones. I have a set on my F250, white letters out. So far so good. They sing a bit for a highway tread but they're supposed to be tough. - 2006blackmaxExplorerThanks
