Noisy fan on range hood
Our 2002 Northern Lite 10-2 CD has a range-hood fan that is loud. Have you replaced yours with a less-noisy one? What did you use and is it satisfactory?

The following is a variable speed fan control that allows you to tune the fan down to an audibly acceptable level. It takes drilling a small hole in your hood for the control knob and somewhere to hide the controller ( I was able to mount mine in the sheet metal cover under the hood that hides the wires from the controls back to the fan/light) but it wasn't difficult to install and the wife loves it. Not bad for $10. You can use the fan at full speed if needed but most of the time we have it on 1/2 speed which is much quiter and all that is needed.
