Finally got my fridge going on gas. It has been running for 16hrs and freezer down to 15 and fridge down to 75. Should be colder than that? Took control board to rv shop and they checked it for me and said it was good. Took it back home and reinstalled it and viola it worked. so don't know what was wrong it. Thanks for all your help, slowly im learning about these things.

It shouldn't take that much voltage to open the gas valve. My fridge works when I dry camp, even if I run the battery down below 12 volts.

Checked battery down to 12v. going to charge it.

Checked that valve this morning and there is voltage to it while clicking then stops when clicking stops.

Yes that is the solenoid for gas valve.......it will have 12V DC power to the solenoid during the ignition spark cycle (6-8 seconds)

Check for 12V as shown in manual

Okay, tried bicquit sugg. got no reading of any kind. Now all im getting is the ignition clicking no flame. There is a little box on the gas line that I think must be a silonoid with 2 wires running to it. There is a rv repair 2 blocks from my house but there booked up till july 4. Ive used them before, they do good work but very busy.

I have a similar fridge that had similar problems. After doing the checks I found the control board to be bad. I replaced it with a Dinosaur Board. It worked well for a couple of years after that. I did have one other problem and found the electrode to be just a little bit too far from the flame. A very, very , slight bending of the electrode solved the problem. It's been very reliable since.
