Northland TT 17'

I came across a few of these: http://northlandcampers.com/travel-trailer.php listed on rvt and I did not know that Northland, usually associated with truck campers, was making a small TT. It appears to look pretty good compared to other small units but the price is a higher too. I saw them only available in WA and OR, so we won't be seeing one any time soon.
  • I like the looks but don't care for the half wall by the bed or the wall A/C unit.
  • I looked into them before we got our Takena. Because it only came with a cooktop I opened some drawers and doors looking at the possibility of adding an oven. I looked in two or three different trailers on the lot and it seemed like they just kinda slapped the plumbing together with what ever pieces they had, so they were all done a little differently. The workmanship didn't impress me.....

    I agree
  • The specs are very minimal. There is nothing about the overall exterior dimensions, GVWR, Dry Weight, CCC, bed dimensions, etc. It looks like a nicely designed trailer for it's short length.
  • I would like to see some specs. Found it in both the aluminum sided and the fiberglass. I prefer the aluminum sided. I might send an email and see what they have on specs. The website is really lacking but I don't fault anyone on that since the whole online thing is always an big investment for smaller companies.
  • It says it has two 5 gallon propane tanks... I've never heard of such small tanks for LP!

    :h

That's the standard 20 lb bottles on many campers. Were you thinking of 5 lb bottles?
  • Well, I emailed them for further information on weights, etc. and they never answered so I crossed them off my list for either buying or referring anyone in their direction.
  • The design seems similar to several other brands. Some have front windows, some not. Personally I'd miss the front window.
