The combo you have in mind is overloaded. You should really consider either a smaller, lighter camper, or, a larger truck. If you are 4x4ing, you do not want to be overloaded since the entire truck takes a beating any way.
Get yourself a short bed, super cab with a gas engine and forget the gas mileage. Beating up an F150 will cost you much more than a few less mpg in a proper sized truck.
