In my opinion Northstar makes pretty decent campers with good designs and quality construction. On a scale of 0 to 10, I would give most builders a score of about 3 or 4. Northstar gets an 8 for quality.
I agree with the quality assessment. Family owned and run business, and they pride themselves on using good grade material. The plywood on my bed frame and under the bed is knot free, not a cheap inferior piece. And they are built to be used off the truck also. I don't have a toilet or inside shower in mine, but I would definitely opt for the cassette toilet if I did.
