While some of you are financially rich to not have a loan I choose to enjoy and stay within my family budget.
The reason I don't have any loans is I drive a 16 year old F150 that tows a 11 year old trailer.... ;)
I started out with a loan on each, but paid them off early with the help of a family member that mentioned us in her will when she didn't need the money any longer...
I make a decent wage, but it's not enough to afford the prices it would take to get a new rig, even with a good sized down payment... Not sure how folks do it.. Other than they are making a lot more than I am..
Anyway, I'm one of the working poor and still manage to do what I want, but just not with what I'd necessarily like to be doing it in..
My wifes Niece just picked up a 1989 Winnebago Warrior class C motor home for $2,900 and plan on taking their kids camping... It needs some work, but it's all there and runs good.. Time will only tell, and it's something I wouldn't deal with, but for them, it's like a whole new chapter in their life.. They can't wait to start making their own family memories!
