Whazoo, I'm never disappointed when you do a write up on your great adventures, another great story.
A note on that unknown rig, it looks like a water drilling platform. It may gets it power from the the towing vehicle, I found this photo online.
This rig was described as a water drilling rig, but could drill for oil as well.
