Two of my neighbors had Shih Tzu pups. They recommend spraying the underside of the dog with Pledge furniture polish so that it kept their hardwood floors dust free and shiny.
I don't know if Odie would be much good doing that in your Outfitter, but if you ever trade for one of those wood floored Chateua's it would be something to think about. Otherwise, Odie is going to turn into a Mayberry Otis, and just not become a contributing member of the TC society.
