I see you've downsized your pet to go along with your lightweight TCing philosophy.
Went to the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park this past summer. We boarded our dogs while exploring south of the border, and then picked them up to continue on to the Canadian side, Waterton Lakes NP; where leashed pets were welcome everywhere outdoors. I wish the USA would take a clue from Canada on this. While the kennel was nice, hiking in Waterton was greatly preferred by our two canine campers.
