Any type of battery can be stored inside. They only off-gas hydrogen when being charged. An AGM battery loses less charge when stored.
I have 3 AGM's in one bank but if you are selling the trailer in 6 mos., it doesn't make much sense to buy a new battery, much less an AGM. If you plan to live in this trailer over the Winter, I'd suggest to buy 2 6V GC2 golf cart batteries. At Costco or Sam's club the 2 6V's will be under $200 and work better for you. If the converter is older it may not be a three stage charger and the single output may be above 13.5V. In that case, you need to watch your battery water levels so it doesn't boil out the electrolyte. Again, a meter is what you need to inspect this.
Inverters draw a significant bit of power from the battery. I know nothing about the one you posted. I have a 1000W Xantrex Prowatt and it serves me well. There is no fan noise and it will handle the draw of my appliances.
Wouldn't I need to vent non sealed batteries if indoors?
I don't have, nor know anyone with Sam's or Costco membership. So that option its out.
How much venting you need depends a lot on the size space. You need to ensure they are not stored where the are open flames or sources of sparks.
It doesn't take much hydrogen or a very big spark to blow a battery up.
I almost lost an eye when I was a pump jockey, we had a battery on the charger, I went to check on it, i bumped the cables, result nice spark and a big boom. This was a three bay service station all the doors where open and 16' ceilings.
