Ive been running one for over 10 years and have not had any problems. Still use the 5K change interval or 1ce a year. When I had the egr and oil cooler replaced, tech at ford said the engine was the cleanest that he had worked on. Oil still looks good even after 1000 miles not black like most. I have the amsoil kit and run synthetic, also have a coolant bypass filter and coolant is always clean. Biggest thing is the cost of the filters, change the bypass every other oil change. fill the engine then unhook the return to catch residual filter oil and run till clean comes out.
