On the 6.0, the actual full flow oil filter is already on top of the engine. Slickest filter I have ever changed. No more crawling under the truck reaching up into the engine to have oil run down your arm.
The filter is actually a bypass filter. It only allows a tiny bit of oil into it. but after running it for a while, eventually all of the oil ends up going thru it. cleaning the oil much better than the full flow through. It compliments the full flow through filter. It does not replace the full flow through filter.
