Oil changes en-route with camper on truck?

It’s ok. About a 1:1000 chance that the filter isn’t tightened. No need to slide under. If there’s not a puddle under it, yer good.
Most likely over tightened, if you can’t remove by hand it was over tightened. Once the gasket contacts 3/4 turn more, never a leak, can get off by hand. I also use old used oil on the gasket, used clean once about 50 years ago, destroyed that filter trying to remove it.
