Those quickie oil change shops use doggie doody low grade oil that I would never put in my engine. Especially if you have a diesel do not ever let a quickle place change your oil, they often even use a suction tube stuck down your dip stick to suck a lot of oil out, not nearly all, and put the poor quality oil in.
Bring your own oil with you, and filter.
Call and find a operator owned place who is willing to use an oil pan and crawl under to drain the oil. The big trucks like these are quite easy to crawl under.
He will spend 90 seconds pulling out the drain plug, go back and do something else while it drains, then spend 30 seconds putting it back in, another 20 seconds pulling the full oil out, and 1-2 mins pouring the oil into the barrel and putting his pan and wrench back. Then 2-3 mins putting the new oil in and just a few mins to put on the filter, before adding oil hopefully.. He will probably spend more time talking to you about it all than it takes him to do it, so leave him alone.
