IMO, FOB leaves vehicle, it shuts off in 5 or 10 mins. If you need you vehicle to run to heat it up on winter morning, use FOB from in house to start. And it shuts down after 10-15 mins.
Seems simple to me. Am I overlooking something?
Btw a simple software update can take care of this.
