Maybe the Journey had a aftermarket system? My wife's 2012 200 which has a standard key with remote start will only run for 10 minutes also then it shuts down. BTW I can also start my truck with my smart phone thru the u-connect app.
Bottom line we can not make everything unassailable for everyone. The owner's manual addresses every aspect of your vehicle yet no one reads it! OEM's have put them in book form and on CD's but still no one will open it and learn how to operate their vehicle. It is easier to blame someone else and than sue to try and get rich because of their laziness.
Again we have had five vehicles with OEM remote starts and have not had any of them start on their own. So lets do a little survey, if you have or have had a vehicle with FACTORY remote start has it ever started without any input from you?
