I'm surprised they are that close; when I went to hook my Ram to our fifth wheel I discovered that the top of the FW hitch was at least 8" higher at it's lowest setting than our 2003 F-350 DRW 4x4. I had our current trailer raised to the highest setting on the adjustable spring hangers and it is still slightly nose high when hooked up.
So you're fortunate that you don't need to deal with that! :B
