Hey ib516, partly due to your posts, and the close to $20,000 I saved compared to the cost of the 3500 cummins, I am a proud new owner of a Ram 3500 with the hemi 6.4.
Your name pops up a lot when searching "Hemi 6.4 and towing".

I checked the specs on your Cougar 5th wheel and the dry weight appears to be 9,512 LBS.
With your experience do you think the 3500 with 4.10 rear end will be capable of pulling a 10,708 LB fifth wheel?

Is this too much trailer for the 6.4 gas engine? I live in Kelowna,BC and plan on pulling through the rockies and down the west coast of the US.
Am I going to be able to maintain the speed limit on the Rocky Mountain passes?
We have 3 small kids 5 and under. We would pack fairly light.
