Just to clarify your statement, the Cummins engine is not even close to your $20K figure. Maybe $9k for a 6.7 CTD engine which will give you about a $9K return on resale ten years from now :W
I too found that odd. Although I also find it funny that some would say 9k is too expensive for the engine option and then turn around and get a Laramie package with 9k worth of bells and whistles. That just means the other 9k worth of bells and whistles options meant more to them then the 9k diesel option is all. If the diesel option was more important than they would have settled for a more basic truck like a SLT instead of a Laramie. Not saying there's anything wrong with either way you go, but just think its funny how it happens that way most of the time and how people word it.
