If only that were true. In fact lighter vehicles kill thousands of people a year:

The Feds are driving manufacturers to make lighter and more fuel efficient vehicles even tho that kills off taxpayers. That's why we call Coopers and such Death Cars in our family.

News flash. Cars and trucks are more heavy than ever! They keep on getting fatter and fatter. A 65 Mustang weighs around 2,600 lbs.
A 93 Mustang weighs around 3,200 lbs.
A 13 Mustang weighs around 3,500 lbs with a freaking V6!!!!!!!
