Still running my '97 2500 CTD - a little over 200k miles on it and still going strong. DW is all over me to get a new one because the old gray mare (truck, not DW) :) shed her clearcoat and "looks embarrassing" ... I keep telling her that a one-time payment for paint job is way cheaper than those new truck payments.
Have to admit, I do lust after those new purty trucks I see out there. :)
Full disclosure - I used to trade trucks as soon as they were paid off - did like those new trucks. However, after many years of no payments, I sure like that, too. However, that makes more ammo for DW to lobby for a new truck - "You USED to buy new trucks, why not now?"
When I tell her I'm older and smarter now, she says "well, 50% right ain't too bad" :)
