Open Range Slide Out Problem
Please help. My dad is leaving tomorrow for a short trip and his slideout will not go out. He states it just makes a clicking noise...move about 2 inches...then stops. It is the slideout on the rig...

It's called the two man push. I haven't had any problems with my slides on my Open Range but had lots of trouble with my previous hybrid. I think OR just got a batch of bad gears. They are very good about warranty work.
I haven't tried it on one of my slides yet but are you saying you can simply push the slide in or out without disconnecting anything? I would have thought the worm drive in the gearbox would keep you from pushing it in or out. Is there a trick to disconnecting the worm drive?
