Opinions on my dilema - newer trucks SRW vs DRW

I likely know the answer here... Current truck has 350,000kms. Engine is pretty good but it has 200,000kms on the 2nd trans, oil pan leak, small electrical gremlins, rusting etc. Its getting tire...

I’m pretty sure RAM makes shortbed megacab DRWs. If you really want to stay with the current TC, that would be an option.

There are SRWs with 18s. 18s can no go to 4080 which would be an option besides 19.5s. But no fix to a SRW will make it handle a TC like a DRW.

If it was me, I’d consider trading the TC and truck. If it is pretty dedicated to a TC, I don’t think you can go wrong with a DRW.
