I hate scissor steps ... my wife hates them ... my dogs won't climb into the camper with them ... they scare babies & small children ... and I often wonder if the 4-horsemen of the apocalypse will show up using scissor ladders to mount their terrible steeds ... it's been a long week ...
Little Giant step ladders (safety step model) - pricey but the best I've found. I use a 4-step getting into the camper my 1-ton; used a 3-step for the same camper on a 1/2-ton.
