Outside Shelf

Thanks to a post by gmw photos (Original post HERE), I was inspired to make a similar shelf. Like gmw photos, I already had an identical outside grill bracket I wasn't using. I have been using an inside stove cover I made several years ago and decided I might be able to use that by carrying it inside or outside as needs required. Here is the result:



This next picture shows the underside of the stove cover and the bracket. I had to create a support across the back of the bracket to support the back edge of the cover. There are four rubber "feet" on the underside of the shelf that are positioned to set into the inside stove grill to lock it in place. I designed the outside bracket so that it locks the cover using the same "feet" So I just carry the cover inside or outside, drop it in place and it's secure and ready to go.
