Anytime you buy a used vehicle you change oil/filter/fuel filter/air filter/service transmission/rear diff. for starters.
I always buy used vehicles and I'm (usually) diligent about all of those maintenance items. When I bought the truck I did change oil and fuel filters right out of the gate. However, somehow I overlooked the air filter. :S
