Try unplugging the TomTom and see if your problem goes away. I know mine did when I disconnected my GPS a number of years ago. If the TomTom battery is not holding a charge well, it may be constantly recharging the TomTom.
That was my problem that led me to a dead battery after the truck had only been sitting 5 days. Once I unplugged the GPS the problem never happened again. May not be your issue, but it couldn't hurt to try unplugging it. Good luck.
