My 2011 GMC Sierra 2500HD would only last 4-5 days before battery was too dead to start. I don't drive it much and often only have a short trip. I have read that the alternator is smart and does not charge unless it needs to, often leaving the battery low after driving it. I replaced the battery with Costco (Interstate) recently and have not had the problem since, perhaps marginal battery?
