You are correct. The stops are still in tact, but I will have to rework them at some point. I actually expected them to have failed by now, but they did last the summer...albeit I have to be very gentle pushing the drawer back in. I guess it doesn't take much to keep it in place as long as it can't get the momentum. If it did, watch out! Overall, it's one of the most useful mods I have done. Highly recommend!
