X2!!!!!!!!! - panamacamper1ExplorerAlmost going on the first month here. It is cold and windy, it snows and is sunny all in the same day. This place isnt bad but I do miss my family. I speak to them daily on thd tango app. I get to play games with ths kids and read to them before bed. I hope our camper is well.
- panamacamper1ExplorerI cant wait till summer. Not because of the humidity I take cold over hot anyday but it means I am that much closer to grabbing my tv and hooking up to my tt and saying f work im camping.
- INSPECTERBAKEExplorerI was stationed there in 84-85 Alpha co 2/72 you may know some people I went through basics with that were in first tank?:@
- Heavy_Metal_DocExplorerI had lived in PA / MD for most of my life while growing up, so I thought my year over there was nothing different than home in terms of weather. Hot and humid in summer and winter plenty cold enough for some snow and general cold weather pains, but no big snow.....no big deal.
I remember a January field exercise got canceled when the water buffalo froze with a fire next to it - it was about 18*F.
I always kinda thought the big deal they make outta weather in the military at any given post has more to do with the fact that service members come from all types of different weather regions of their homes which could be an extreme change for them. - starlordExplorerJust wait till summer, the humidity will get to you.
- panamacamper1ExplorerOk, so my journey starts. I arrived last night to incheon airport. Korea is a dry cold different from home. Last night about 2am I woke up to a nice nose bleed. Its gonna be a great year.

enjoy, and thank you for your service...
"Hooah" - starlordExplorerFirst time there was in 72, swore I'd never drive there when a taxi driver came down a hill and went across the main intersection without stopping, just held his hands out the window to stop cross traffic as he went across the street. Second time was accompanied, so it was two years, from 83 to 85. Broke my promise to not drive there by taking the first full custom van over, was two weeks before I could get around Seoul with it because everybody kept stopping in front of me to look at it plus I had nose prints all over the windows when I came out in the mornings to go to work. Get out and about, there are some nice temples and things in the country side. You can also go to some of the factories, I brought home a bunch of Eagle Claw fishing gear my last time there.
- panamacamper1ExplorerI will have access to the internet and will update on my adventures.
non work related that is. Ill see if I can find rvs and tt while im there but I dont remember seeing any last time. Thanks for the support.
