My camper (Bigfoot) has a nice clear glass window starting at crotch level in the bathroom and nice curtains to keep it always covered up for privacy and to avoid offending the locals.
The top window on the back door - which would logically be clear glass with curtains so you could peep out to see who was there before blindly opening the door - is obscure frosted glass.
The bottom window - which is clear glass - has the plastic cover clipped over it and that can't be removed with the outside door shut
So the camper occupants are totally blind for the most important quarter of their perimeter.
What were the morons thinking.

Very good point. My NL has the same blind-to-the-rear feature. After letting this rattle around in the back of my mind for a while, I have a solution. I'm going to make a curtain and attach it to the inside of the screen door frame with velcro. Then I'll leave the snap-on plastic cover in the closet. It will be easy to just move the curtain aside to see what is behind the camper, and easy to remove the curtain when it's not needed.
