Picking the right camper for my 1500 series GMC pickup...

Our Silverado 1500 has 664 lbs for slide in camper on the sticker in the glove box, our popup 8ft TC weighs 1,460 lbs and it was a bit much for the truck but it did ok, we upgraded to a long bed 2500 so we could pull our 17 foot boat, hope that helps.
