Personally --- I don't see the need for two dormers since the bed is at one end. We just bought a Chalet XL 1935 with the dormer. What I like regarding the issue of Chalet vs Aliner (I've owned one of each prior to this purchase) is that the Chalet dormer is a hard side dormer. The Aliner is canvas. Friends don't let friends do canvas. We had an issue with the door sticking and not closing all the way. So ... this week we went to the Chalet manufacturer in Albany, Oregon and factory people were so helpful. They expect to get the factory up and running soon. I have no issue with buying from Chalet. They have been super.
